Welcome to the homepage of the Danish Chamber of Commerce - South China.
Bordering the South China Sea in the South and the Taiwan Straits to the South East, the Danish Chamber of Commerce - South China (or DCC-SC for short) covers the four provinces of Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi and Hainan. DCC-SC is an organisation strongly rooted in especially the Pearl River Delta and Fujian province, a geographically integrated area and economic power zone where proximity and close ties to Hong Kong plays an important role. Over the years South China has become host to an increased number of Danish Companies seeking business opportunities the region has to offer.
A growing number of Danish companies in South China found it useful to have a more formal setting for co-operation. On the 3rd of March 2005 a group of General Managers for Danish companies held a founding meeting for DCC-SC. It was decided to form a local Chamber of Commerce under the umbrella of the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China located in Beijing. DCC-SC thus constitutes a forum for Danish member companies and businesses alike where they may seek mutual support, exchange business information, find good advice, liaise with authorities, and not least create a setting for social and networking purposes.
